Raztad, its funny you use the words "leaps and bounds", when you're trying to take something away from a game that isn't a PS3 exclusive. Here is the thing though, there isn't anything on the PS3 thats leaps and bounds above anything, anywhere except for whats on the Wii.

Bold statement, and I agree with 90% of your comment. Gears actually has a semi-direct competitor in Uncharted. But since Gears is Sci-fi it has to go up against those games you mentioned, even though they're 1st person shooters and Gears isn't. Thats why I think Gears is in a league of its own overall.

But seriously, they just moved and positioned it into Uncharted territory. This means will actually get a more grounded and balanced comparison. If UC3 stays on track for its assumed release, then we'll see who the real King of 3rd person shooters really is.

I would be laughed at if I told my friends and associates I watched DBZ. I'm still constantly explaining video games to them, cartoons is where I draw the line.

And thats the problem I have with MS and this...next step. I would love to have Windows 7 mobile because of the Live integration, but I don't want to have to buy a $300-$800 phone, nor do I want to have to upgrade...unless they have a sweet deal within the contract for the phone. I would much prefer they sale Windows 7 mobile to be downloaded or upgraded or whatever the case may be. They should sale it like they do Windows for PCs.

I personally think the guy is reading too much into this. And he should definitely play more console shooters besides the two most popular ones. I'm not saying he is wrong, but he isn't right about all shooters on consoles either.
